As the efficient management of hydraulic machines and marine systems become more dependent on integral electronic controls, there is an increasing demand for pressure sensors and transmitters.
Danfoss has decades of experience in pressure transmitters and has managed to follow the market needs both in relation to sensor technologies and functions, especially in the wind power industry.
Today the Danfoss pressure sensor program covers a broad selection of pressure transmitter types which all combine the state of the art technologies with intelligent choice of material. This secures that we are able to tailor our pressure controls range to almost any measuring task – at any budget.
AKS 2050, Pressure transmitters with ratiometric output signal and pulse snubber
AKS 2050 is a ratiometric pressure transmitter that converts the measured pressure to a linear output signal. AKS 2050 is for high pressure and with pulse-snubber in the pressure connection. The min. value of the output signal is less than10% of the actual supply voltage. The max. value is more than 90% of the actual supply voltage.
At a supply voltage of 5 V, the output signal is:
0.5 V at min pressure range
4.5 V at max. pressure range
The robust design and the ratiometric output signal makes the transmitter suitable for systems together with ratiometric A/D converters within a number of fields:

AKS 3000 series, Pressure transmitters with 4-20 mA output signal and voltage supply
AKS 3000 is a series of absolute transmitters with high-level signal conditioned current output, developed to meet demands in A/C and refrigeration. AKS 3000 utilizes the proved piezoresistive measuring principle, which has been used for decades in Danfoss pressure transmitters.
The pressure reference is a sealed gauge. This means that atmospheric pressure variations have no influence on regulating accuracy. A must in accurate low pressure regulation. All materials in contact with the refrigerant and materials for the housing are AISI 316L stainless steel. No soft gaskets, all environmental sealings are made through laser weldings only. AKS 3000 has a 4 to 20 mA output, and is available with spade terminals for EN 175301-803 plug.

The ship approved pressure transmitter EMP 2 is designed for use in almost all marine and industrial applications, and offers a reliable pressure measurement, even under harsh environmental conditions.
The pressure transmitter programme in box design is approved according to LR, DNV, GL, RINA, ABS, BV, NKK, CCS, KRS requirements, and covers a 4-20 mA output signal, gauge (relative) versions, measuring ranges from 0-1 to 0-400 bar, zero point and span adjustment, Pg 13,5 cable entry and different pressure connections.
A robust construction enables the pressure transmitter to meet the strictest requirements.
