Honeywell’s ST 3000 Series 100 Transmitters
Honeywell’s ST 3000 Series 100 Transmitters provide exceptional process performance in terms of accuracy, stability, reliability and range. This makes them ideal for critical process loops and high-dollar applications such as custody transfer and energy and material balances.
What Is It? |
||
ST 3000 Series 100 transmitters include differential pressure, absolute pressure, gauge pressure, draft range and remote seal transmitters. Refineries, chemical and pharmaceutical plants and paper mills across the globe rely on these transmitters for accurate and consistent pressure measurement. ST 3000 Series 100 transmitters offer compelling features, including:
The transmitters provide comprehensive self-diagnostics to help maintain high uptime, meet regulatory requirements, and attain high quality standards. In addition, their broad 400:1 turndown ratio eliminates the need to stock transmitters with multiple ranges, allowing users to re-range rather than change or add transmitters. |

How Does It Work? |
||
ST 3000 Series 100 transmitters can replace any 4 to 20 mA output transmitter in use today and operate over a standard two-wire system. The measuring means, a piezoresistive sensor, is a three-in-one sensor. It uses a differential pressure sensor, a temperature sensor and a static pressure sensor to deliver a comprehensive and compensated output signal. Microprocessor-based electronics provide higher span turndown ratio, improved temperature and pressure compensation with improved accuracy. The transmitters offer users a range of output communication options to choose from, including 4-20 mA, Honeywell Digitally Enhanced (DE), HART (both HART 5 and HART 6) and FOUNDATION Fieldbus. When integrated with Honeywell’s Experion® PKS, they provide a more accurate process variable and advanced diagnostics, including full HART 6 integration.

What Problems Does It Solve? |
||
ST 3000 Series 100 Transmitters lead the industry in accuracy, stability, reliability, and rangeability. Users benefit from improved product quality, lower operational and maintenance costs and higher flexibility. In addition, the transmitters offer proven and repeatable pressure measurements across a varied range of hazardous environments without compromising on safety. |
