Space Saver® cylinders provide the power and stroke of standard cylinders in less than half the space. They are ideal for use in machinery where space and weight are at a premium, and cost up to 50% less than standard models. They are built to last using oil impregnated sintered bronze rod bearings and hard coated cylinder bores that eliminate scoring.
Bore sizes: 3/4", 1-1/8", 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3", 4"
Uniform base thickness makes mounting easy regardless of stroke
Cylinders are ideal for use on drill fixtures and other automated tooling
Valve hookup is made easy because the top cylinder port swivels 360°
Pressure: 0-150 PSI (air only)
Temperature: -40°F to 250°F (to 400°F with Viton)
Square Flat-I® series cylinders are a convenient alternative for horizontal and side mounting, with provisions for both bottom flush, or face mounting. This design also minimizes the centerline distance when cylinders are mounted side by side. With a variety of stroke lengths and options available, you can customize these cylinders to your application needs.
Bore sizes: 3/4", 1-1/16", 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3", 4"
304 stainless steel body prevents corrosion
Standard oil impregnated bronze rod bushing
Stainless piston rod
Precision machined anodized aluminum heads
Maximum Pressure: 150 PSI (air only)
Square Flat-II® non-rotating, double acting cylinders provide the answer to applications where rotation cannot be tolerated. Non-rotation is achieved with dual piston rods and a rod end block that insures the rods work in tandem. This design eliminates the need for any type of external alignment devices and the square end caps allow for bottom flush or face mounting.
Bore sizes: 3/4", 1-1/16", 1-1/2", 2"
304 stainless steel body prevents corrosion
303 stainless steel tie-rods
Stainless piston rod
Precision machined anodized aluminum heads
Maximum Pressure: 200 PSI (air only)
TRD's NFPA heavy duty stainless steel cylinder is ideal for applications subjected to chemicals and corrosive environments. Options include an FDA approved lubricant and solid Delrin® rod bushing, which is also FDA approved. The solid stainless steel piston provides maximum corrosion resistance.
Bore sizes: 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3-1/4", 4", 5", 6", 8"
Piston rods are hard chrome plated, ground and polished stainless steel
Maximum Operating Presssure: 250 PSI air, 400 PSI hydraulic non-shock (TH option)
316 stainless steel is optional; please allow additional time due to material availability
Stainless steel multi-stage and triple rod cylinders are available
Permanent lubrication design provides outstanding service life. Click here to learn more!
TRD stainless steel multi-stage cylinders can be used to multiply the force on either the extend (SS-MSE) or retract (SS-MSR) stroke. Both models use only one piston on the return stroke, saving air volume and operating costs. The cylinders can be purchased in 2, 3, or 4 stage models.
Bore sizes: 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3-1/4", 4", 5", 6"
Rated for 125 PSI Air, or Hydraulic (non-shock)
Eliminates the need for high pressure systems
Bore size vs. output force saves space
Double rod end models available
Ships in 2-3 days
TA series NFPA cylinders have a self alignment feature, which is a rod bushing designed to float 0.002", improving bearing surface alignment. This provides a minimum of 25% longer life than "fixed" rod bushing design. It also reduces breakaway and running friction, which improves overall actuation responsiveness. Cylinders can be customized to fit any application.
Bore sizes: 1-1/2", 2", 2-1/2", 3-1/4", 4", 5", 6", 8", 10", 12"
Precision machined components from high alloy aluminum
Maximum Operating Pressure: 250 PSI air, 400 PSI hydraulic non-shock ("TH" option)
