Bimba Cylinder
TRD will build your cylinder with the proper magnet, spacer plates (if required), drilling and tapping, intermediate supports (if required) and furnish the trandsucer as a complete unit. Three types of Balluff cable connectors are offered; Mini Connectors, Micro AC .50" x 20 UNF Connectors, and Micro M12 DC Connectors. All three feature a straight female connection.
Z series transducers are embedded in the center of the cylinder, protecting the probe

Balluff's Strokemaster庐 eliminates post-installation cable management problems with 304掳 of rotational freedom on the connector. Strokemaster庐 sensors allow infinitely adjustable and lockable cable positioning anytime after mounting to the cylinder. Without breaking the seal, Strokemaster庐 enables quicker installation of the sensor and neat cable runs.

Balluff's internal transducers feature a rugged all stainless steel housing and are available on a number of TRD's NFPA cylinders. Three rod styles are available, Z, W, and K Series. Z series transducers feature a replaceable electronics head. W series are designed for demanding applications and eliminate the need for protective covers. K series feature a bolt-in design.

HD large bore cylinders combine NFPA dimensional interchangeability and high quality components, offering excellent performance and long service life, even in the most severe conditions. All cylinders are fitted with a heavy-duty external rod bearing, Teflon庐-impregnated and hard coat anodized, ensuring smooth rod motion while maintaining rod rigidity.

This low profile actuator minimizes thickness with a linear recirculating ball rail located next to the bore. Derived from the larger narrow profile actuator, both offer precise load guiding where space constraints are extremely important. MRS position sensing for MS switch series can be added by selecting option M.

MFD's Extruded Thruster is a rugged, guided actuator with a cylinder integral to the thruster block. The sleek body incorporates a groove for switch mounting for a clean, space-efficient package. The thrusters can be mounted with screws from the top, bottom, or base or by using T-slots on the bottom.
Bore sizes: 12, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, and 63mm.
Available in strokes from 10mm to 250mm depending on the bore size.
The thruster is available with a bronze bushing or a linear ball bushing.
All thrusters come with magnets.

Mead鈥檚 line of miniature air cylinders offers users a wide range of low-profile linear actuators. These versatile cylinders are available in both single-acting and double-acting models. They are ideal actuators in any application where space is limited. Cylinders are electroless nickel plated for excellent corrosion resistance and a gleaming appearance.

Available in seven bore sizes from 9/16" through 3", the movable housing thruster from Bimba offers extremely high load carrying capability with the same precision and low friction found in our T series linear thrusters. The Bimba Movable Housing is black anodized and fitted with either re-circulating ball bearings or TFE (lined) composite bearings.

Multi-stage cylinders can provide the same output force as larger bore, single stage cylinders while being lower cost. Higher forces can be achieved in tight spaces versus larger bore cylinders which require more center to center space when more than one cylinder is required. Stainless steel models are available for wash down or corrosive environments.

Bimba鈥檚 multiple position linear thrusters incorporate a double-acting single rod end cylinder that provides an intermediate position in addition to fully extended and fully retracted positions. These actuators are rated for pressures up to 250 PSI and have low breakaway friction. There are multiple materials and options to choose from for the guide shafts.
