Rotork Fluid Systems’ product offering encompasses GP, CP and RC200 / RCI200 ranges of scotch-yoke pneumatic actuators, GH (scotch yoke) and RH (rack & pinion) hydraulic actuators, the GO range of gas-over-oil actuators, the HPG range of high-pressure direct-gas actuators and the Skilmatic range of electro-hydraulic actuators.
In addition to quarter-turn designs, most ranges are also available for linear valve applications. Many actuators are built for critical high-speed failsafe or emergency shutdown (ESD) duties in harsh locations, including subsea actuators for valves at depths measured in hundreds of metres.
CP range pneumatic actuators are a versatile, modular, scotch yoke design available in both double-acting and spring-return configurations. The compact and efficient design yields high torques even at low pressures. The design concepts found in Rotork's large, heavy-duty actuators has been applied to the CP range, which brings heavy-duty actuator qualities to small, quarter-turn actuators.
The actuator body is of rugged, ductile cast iron available in four body sizes. Cylinders are manufactured from carbon steel, electroless nickel-plated.

The DH range of quarter-turn hydraulic vane dampers are engineered to provide a simple, reliable solution to inherent problems often seen in swing check valve applications: namely down line surges from rapid disc reseating and excessive valve wear due to the disc flutter produced at some flow rates.
The rugged design features a self-contained hydraulic system that incorporates an easily adjusted valve for simple yet precise throttling controlin both directions. This closed loop hydraulic circuit protects the valve from potential valve contamination.

GP (pneumatic) and GH (hydraulic) range scotch yoke actuators are designed to provide a rotary, quarter-turn movement for either on/off or modulating duty. The rugged yet compact design is available with two different yoke designs. The classic symmetric yoke delivers peak torque at both ends of stroke. Alternatively, they can be supplied with canted torque arms designed to deliver peak torque at only one end of stroke. Use of canted arms can often reduce actuator size, weight and cost for valves with appropriate torque demand characteristics.

Hiller products include rotary and linear pneumatic and hydraulic actuators in double-acting and spring-return configurations. Also included are specialised linear hydro-pneumatic actuators designed to deliver very precise speed control. We supports a large installed base of these products already proven in installations throughout the world.
Applications include main steam isolation valves, feed water isolation valves, HVAC system dampers and numerous other plant auxiliary systems. Quality assurance for these products conforms to 10 CFR 50 APP B, 10 CFR 21, ANSI N45.2 and has been audited by both NUPIC and NIAC. Environmental and seismic qualifications comprise IEEE 323, 344 and 382.
The HPG range of pipeline actuators are designed to use pipeline gas as the motive power source. They utilise our robust scotch yoke mechanism field proven the world over in all types of fluid power applications.
Manual override is a standard feature of the range. Our design incorporates a separate cylinder for hydraulic override to ensure complete separation of high-pressure pipeline gas from the hydraulic fluid. The use of an independent override cylinder allows replacement of power cylinder seals without removal of the actuator from the valve and will even allow for manual operation while the power cylinder is disassembled. Control configurations are available to meet virtually any operation requirements.

Hydraulic power units (HPU’s) complement our extensive offering of rotary and linear actuators. We have over three decades of experience in their manufacture with units in service in a variety of plants and pipelines in locations spanning the globe. Although our HPU’s are primarily intended to power our hydraulic actuators they are of course suitable for other applications as well. And, in order to provide a complete range of options to best meet the requirements of any application, RFS also has the Skilmatic range of self-contained electro-hydraulic actuators.
Custom engineered solutions to meet the specific demands of each application
Sole source responsibility for the complete operating system including field survey, design, fabrication, test, installation and start-up
Best-in-class documentation and service manuals

K-TORK vane actuators are available in both double-acting and spring-return configurations with torque outputs up to 18,300 Nm (155,000 in-lbs). K-TORK is a true rotary actuator - there is no sideload transferred to the actuator housing or valve stem. Additionally, K-TORK actuators provide a simple, proven method to mount fail-safe springs, manual overrides and control accessories.
The vane actuator design provides high torque output in a compact size. The dual-opposed lip seals eliminate all pressure-retaining o-rings in the actuator, providing the user with a long, trouble-free operating life.
